Christmas was great. We were in Arizona and got to see my family and Mitch's. Carley and Rain, our two new nieces, stole the show. 

This picture was actually taken last year (you can see Mitch still has his gotee) but it is snowboarding season. Last weekend we went to Sundance. We already have had so much snow so the riding was nice. We plan to go this weekend and the first Saturday in February when my brother Lane and his girlfriend Brandi come up to visit!

For Thanksgiving we were in Texas visiting Mitch's family. In this picture we were at the Chinese tea gardens with Dad, Tracey, Brooke, and Lily. The girls are getting bigger all the time and it was good to spend the time with them all!

This is all so out of order...oops. I guess that's what I get for waiting to put it all together. 

In December Matt and Cindy Mendonca (perfect parents to be) invited us to go to Mexico with them, even flying us down to AZ on some buddy passes. It was kind of cold but lots of fun and very relaxing. This was in exchange for there usual trip up to Utah to go to Park City. Mitch and I roamed the beach for cool shells and enjoyed the cold water when the tide went out. We did some shopping in the market areas and even found a small aquarium with a seal, fish, and large turtles. The best part was hanging out with friends and practically having the whole resort to our selves (off season.)

Baby Rain, Mitch's sister Desiree's little girl, was born November 10th. We had just been there over Halloween so we just missed her! But we then got to see her for Christmas. 

Just had to throw this one in. I love the pictures that come through the lab where I work. Here's one that was submitted by the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. I don't know who they are but I thought it was interesting.

In November Mitch and I took our first fixed-wing intro flights. We each took half an hour and flew with an instructor and friend of ours Shawn Flanagan. The craft we flew was the DA-20. Mitch would like to get his fixed wing private pilot, I may make it an add on later. 

My dad's mom, Grammy Wagner, made a trip up to see us this fall with my parents and Jhosh. We made a drive around the Mount Nebo loop and saw summer, fall, and winter all at once. We ate lunch at an area called the Devil's Kitchen. It was freezing and covered in fog but fun. 

Oh and in September we also went camping up at the high Uinta Mountains at Mirror Lake. It was so very beautiful. When the snow melts (sometime in July...) we'll go back.
