Over Memorial Day weekend Mitch and I, Chris and his girlfriend, Aubrey, all went camping. We stayed at a place just north of Moab called Horse Thief campground. We kayaked down the Colorado river (which what really more like a slow float down the non-rapid water :) ) We hiked around in Canyonlands National Park and for next time we now know that you really need a 4x4 vehicle to enjoy all of that place. It rained almost every night and our tent just about got knocked over. The wind was always blowing. We came back on Monday morning and went down the Provo River by Vivan Park and that was a lot more fun with more rapids. It was there on May 25, 2009 the Chris proposed to Aubrey! And of course she said yes. Crazy eventful weekend.
