Here are some better pictures of the trip we took to the top of Pikes Peak. It really was breath taking. No wonder the song "America the Beautiful" was inspired by this place. You can really see for miles at the top and we could have seen more if it weren't for the massive cloud cover. Though out the day we watched as a storm over took the mountain with rain and lighting. There were even reports of hail in the surrounding areas. Glad we went in the AM; they close the road if the top is too dangerous. We can't wait until we can come back and spend more time here. Today we are back on the road and headed Provo to see Chris and Aubrey.
